Firefox is a free Internet browser that is secure, user-friendly, and fun. with its pop-up blocker and tabbed browsing design. It is also fully customizable to your browsing preferences with features like personas, private browsing, and one-click bookmarking. While it is a great, popular browser overall, sometimes it seems a little slow to users. We’ve compiled a few tips on how to bring your Firefox up to speed.

Control Browser Requests

Normally, your web browser will only make one request when attempting to access a page. But if you enable “pipelining” Firefox will make multiple requests at once, resulting in much faster downloads. To enable pipelining:
network.http.pipelining

1.    Open Firefox and in the address bar type about:config. Hit Enter.
2.    Scroll down the list and look for network.http.pipelining. network.http.pipelining.maxrequests.
3.    Double click on False to change it to True.

A common error with the Mozilla Firefox browsing software is the "Firefox is already running error." If you attempt to launch Fire fox and get this error there can be several reasons and possible fixes. This is one of the most frequently reported errors with the Firefox browser.
