Java
For Java’s download, we will be migrating away from the Apple site to http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp. This page lists two download options, both of which are compatible with the Windows XP operating system. Next two each option is a link for “Instructions.” These pages will walk you through your manual Java download.
iTunes
Apple developed iTunes as an easy to use entertainment collection that helps users organize music, movies, TV shows, and other digital media. Lets pay a quick visit to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/. Here you’ll be able to download iTunes 9.2, which is compatible with Windows XP systems. This page will also tell you what system requirements are necessary for iTunes to operate on your PC.
QuickTime
Apple’s QuickTime is a multimedia tool for viewing video and multimedia in a variety of formats. We’ll be heading back to Apple’s web site for our QuickTime download too. Visit http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ for the XP compatible version. A nice thing about the QuickTime download is that there is a second option for you to download both QuickTime and iTunes at the same time. Make sure to review the minimum system requirements before you download!
Adobe Reader
For a Windows XP compatible version of Adobe Reader, you’ll want to hit up http:// get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/. On this page you’ll first have to choose your operating system and here you will need to know whether you have Windows XP SP2 or SP3. After you select your operating system and your language, the available download versions for your particular system will appear as Step 2 of 2 at the bottom. Just choose your download and click on Download Now and follow the instructions.

This particular program is a digital media player and library. Windows Media Player 11 is XP SP2 compatible.
